Escape the confines of the classroom and follow in the moonwalk of Irish space experts like Neil Armstrong and Eileen Collins in this interactive space camp for Primary level students.
Delivered remotely, this camp consists of a 1-hour Zoom-delivered session, designed to get students engaging with history in a fun, creative way. First, we’ll discover some fascinating real life space-milestones and inspiring stories of Irish astronauts, before taking part in a series of tasks, such as designing space suits and a space experiment. All students need is their imagination – and some paper – to take part!
Important: This workshop is designed for Primary School level, and is offered at a reduced rate of 25 euro per booking as part of Space Week. It is suitable for both school and home school students. Students will require access to Zoom, and paper, pens/ pencils to take part.
