What is space weather and how can it affect us?
BCO’s Education Team will join your class remotely for a 40-minute session to discuss the Sun, it’s magnetic nature and how that can affect us here on the Earth.
Suitable for Junior Cycle students. Includes aspects of Earth and Space 1 and 8.
These sessions are part of Space Week Ireland, and are offered free of charge with the support of ESERO Ireland and Science Foundation Ireland.

Workshops are available from 27th September to 1st October
Three session slots are available each day, 9am – 11am, 11.30am to 1.30pm or 2pm to 4pm, during which we will join you for the 40-minute session. Exact times will be confirmed with each teacher.
