Join Dr. Niall Smith, Astrophysist and Director of Blackrock Castle Observatory on October 4th for an investigative space exploration workshop in Lough Gur Heritage Centre from 10 am to 1 pm. Project Manager of the Lough Gur Science Group, Paul Ryan, will bring students on an outdoor excursion to the Great Grange Stone Circle to examine what may have been one of Ireland’s first night sky observatories!
