July 20th, 2019 will be a globally celebrated
event as we mark the 50th anniversary of the
first moon landing, a significant moment in the
history of space exploration.
This new STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths) workshop will tell the story of Apollo 11. Children attending will learn where Apollo 11 landed, and will be able to look up at the moon and point to the landing area. A life-size Buzz Aldrin in the room will help explain astronaut space suits and survival. A specially designed A4 learning sheet will be provided for each child to further enhance their understanding.
This event is over.
