Enterprise Ireland and ESA are now actively looking to grow and fast track Irish start-ups who utilise any technologies that may have been used in or developed from Space applications. Space technologies and applications cover a vast and varied number of Industries and applications from Fluorescent vests, Medical devices, micro-electronics and Laser communications through to Earth observation Apps, Navigation, Crop and Forestry monitoring and more. In fact most technologies have a link to Space!
The Global space spend is set to double over the next 5 years from $350Bn to almost $700Bn, with the vast majority off this spend being in the commercial or “new space” sector, in addition Downstream spend is set to be between 5 and 10 times this figure.
The workshop will include interactive sessions on how to develop your business idea and how to apply to the ESA Business Incubation Programme.
